Wild Dreams and obsession with The Matrix

I had this really crazy dream.. I had visions of light fighting with darkness.. Its kinda hard to explain, but what's even stranger is that I've seen similar visions when I'm and watching a movie. In the dream I went to my parents bedroom to try to explain what was going on, but they wouldn't believe me or had a hard time picturing what I was telling them. The good thing about this dream (and most dreams I've been having for that matter) is that there is this great sense of peace, like if God or nature or some great power is trying to tell me how the forces of the universe work. It does seem, however, that there is some sort of association with death in these dreams.. Like one has to die in order to see these things. This kinda gets me bummed because it makes me want to die. I don't want to commit suicide, I just want death to get here quickly. I often think of that part of the song from the Goo Goo Dolls that goes: "the young man sitting at the old man's bar, waiting for his time to die".
The images I see in recent dreams look like something out of The Matrix. I think I am obsessed with The Matrix because my battle with my chemical imbalance and depression started when I first saw the movie. Not that the movie brought this about, it was just a coincidence. But after I saw The Matrix, I saw Stigmata and saw What Dreams May Come and other movies and got that same feeling that I could see this battle between dark and light. In my recent dreams its like I'm watching a movie with "feel-a-vision" or something like that and it feels GREAT!
